Zaraya Platforms LLC ("Zaraya," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our platform at zaraya.net (the "Platform").

By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Platform.

Account Information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and account type (customer or provider). This information is necessary to create and manage your account.

Booking Information. When you make or receive a booking, we collect details such as the requested service, requested date and time, style preferences, notes, and the identity of the parties involved.

User-Uploaded Content. If you upload inspiration photos, style board items, or portfolio images, we store those files on our servers. You retain ownership of your uploaded content, but grant us the license described in our Terms of Service.

Communications. Messages exchanged between customers and providers through our in-platform chat are stored to facilitate your booking relationship.

Usage Data. We collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. This information helps us operate and improve the Platform.

Location Data. When you use location filters to search for providers near you, we use the location information you provide (city, zip code, or general area) solely to return relevant search results. We do not store your precise GPS location, and we do not track your location over time.

Provider Profile Data. If you register as a Provider, we collect and store your business name, service offerings, pricing, portfolio photos, staff information, availability, and any other profile information you submit. This information is displayed publicly to all Platform users.

Terms Acceptance. We record the date and time you accepted these Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
• Facilitate bookings between customers and Providers
• Enable in-platform messaging related to your bookings
• Send transactional communications about your bookings (e.g., confirmation, updates)
• Improve and personalize the Platform experience
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with applicable legal obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not use your personal information to serve third-party advertising or sell it to data brokers.

With Providers. When you make a booking, the Provider you are booking with will receive your name, phone number, booking details, and any style notes or inspiration photos you choose to share. This sharing is necessary to facilitate the service.

With Customers. When a Provider confirms a booking, the customer receives confirmation details. Provider profile information (name, services, portfolio photos) is visible to all platform users.

Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform:

• Supabase — authentication and database infrastructure
• Cloud storage providers — secure storage of uploaded photos and files
• Vercel — platform hosting and deployment

These vendors are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to us.

Legal Disclosure. We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Zaraya, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication practices, and access controls.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You use the Platform at your own risk.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, booking records for tax or legal compliance purposes).

Uploaded content (photos, style board items) associated with a deleted account will be removed from our systems, subject to standard backup cycles.

You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Access. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction. You may update inaccurate information directly in your account settings or by contacting us.
• Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
• Opt-Out. You may opt out of non-transactional communications (marketing emails) at any time by contacting us or using unsubscribe links in any such emails.

Zaraya uses cookies solely for session management — to keep you logged in and to maintain your preferences during a browsing session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics cookies.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent certain features of the Platform from functioning correctly, including staying logged in.

Zaraya is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@zaraya.net.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date. Where practicable, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
